Join us on a yoga retreat that promises a homey feel, delicious healthy home-made food, a strong dedicated daily yoga practice and an insight of how to boost your wellbeing. The Lotus Room Yoga Retreat 2017 is set in the wilderness of medieval Tuscany, surrounded by rolling hills and breath-taking landscapes, where you can relish a myriad of stunning walks; you will certainly feel close to nature here!

Surrounded by numerous holy sites from the mysterious Etruscan civilisation, the majestic city of Orvieto, the crystal clear Lake Bolsena and ancient Medieval villages such as Civita di Bagnoregio, on this retreat you can expect to experience the atmosphere, fragrances, colours and flavors which are unique to Italy!

What to Expect

The sankalpa, highest intention, of this trip is to restore your body and mind to balance so that you may come into harmony and sync with the rhythm of your own soul voice and live in an authentic state of peace, wholeness and integration.

Location

Located in a verdant park in the province of Terni, the holiday farm is surrounded only by quiet wooded hills and grassy glades. It is the ideal spot for a natural vacation where you can restore your energy and wellbeing.

Venue

An old stone farm house renovated in natural architectural style, nestled in verdant hills, is our home for this retreat. Solar energy is used, including an advanced climate control system. Comfortable rooms which are clear of magnetic fields ensure the utmost relaxation.

Accommodation

All rooms have an outdoor porch overlooking the park of the farm house. Simple yet charming, the bedrooms are renovated with the most innovative natural architectural criteria and furnished in colonial style. Served with private bathrooms, they offer all the comfort you need for an authentic and natural yoga retreat.

Meals

The cuisine is typical of Tuscany, based on genuine daily products which are fresh and naturally grown on the farm itself. The dining room preserves the typical farmhouse atmosphere and there is also the possibility to dine outside.

Yoga Practice

We immerse ourselves into highly-transformative yoga practices and re-pattern physical samskara, unconscious repeated habits, which affect the longevity of your body or limit your potential to deepen your practice. You are welcome to bring questions about poses or transitions to refine your practice.
